About

Dalia Kisieliene: The Anatomy of Light
My work is a continuous search for light within the deepest shadows. Every stroke of the palette knife on canvas is an attempt to capture what I call the 'Anatomy of Light'—from the burning horizons of a distant journey to the intimate gaze of a portrait.
I believe that art should have weight, texture, and a soul. Using a heavy impasto technique, I don't just paint a subject; I build the very feeling of being present in that moment. My creative philosophy, 'Two Rhythms', explores the dialogue between meditative sensitivity and bold, structural power.
In my personal studio, I create not only my oil paintings but also collaborative projects with my husband, Nerijus. In our shared creative space, my 'Rhythms of Light' meet Nerijus’s hand-casted bronze works. This is an alchemy of two elements—oil and fire—where we complement each other while staying true to our individual artistic visions.

„The Soul of Turquoise“
"Long before I picked up the palette knife to paint the 'Anatomy of Light,' I was weaving life into small creatures. This little felted companion, sitting by my turquoise cup, represents the root of my artistic journey: a deep love for texture and the quiet, soulful energy of the color Turquoise."
