Šiame kūrinyje šviesa veikia kaip skulptoriaus įrankis. Drąsus horizontalus šviesos kirtis apibrėžia žmogaus veido charakterį ir tūrį, iškylantį iš dramatiško šešėlių žaismo. Nutapytas tiršta impasto technika ant drobės popieriaus, šis portretas turi taktilinį, monumentalų svorį. Palikdama popieriaus kraštus atvirus, nutiesiu tiltą tarp ekspresyvaus aliejaus potėpio ir medžiagiškosios tiesos – tai mano sodybos studijos grynas kūrybos procesas.

In this work, light acts as a sculptor’s tool. The bold horizontal stroke of light defines the character and volume of the human face, emerging from a dramatic play of shadows. Painted with a thick impasto technique on canvas paper, the portrait possesses a tactile, monumental presence. By leaving the paper edges exposed, I bridge the gap between the expressive oil stroke and the material truth of the medium—reflecting the raw, authentic process of my studio.
